ARTWALK 2025- The Gateway Pod of orcas is introduced to art lovers of the Key Peninsula. Their creativity and cleverness selects a name for the pod's baby: she is named Key Key!

SCARECROW CONTEST 2025- Key Key appears as a 6' tall paper mache scarecrow! But she doesn't win the contest because she's too cute to scare crows!

ALL HALLOW'S EVE 2025- Kids do their best orca calls in Gateway Park. The winning caller got a stuffed orca prize. Sadly, no orcas showed up...

WINTER WARMUP 2025- Key Key is here to be fed donations. There are buttons and bracelets to reward her caretakers.

KEY PEN LUTHERAN CHURCH AUCTION 2025- Donated baskets of art will support public art in a charity auction and dinner.

LIVABLE COMMUNITY FAIR 2026!

Lots of people came by to learn about the orca sculptures and make their contributions to project. We also talked about the Key Peninsula Community Council's work, the beautification efforts, and signed up new volunteers who want to pitch in with clean-ups and plantings. It's a great way to make the Key Peninsula more beautiful!
